SCHEMITZUN, the FEAST OF GREEN CORN AND DANCE
Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24
Gates Open at 10 am ET | Grand Entry at 12 pm
Mashantucket, CT
Hi all! This is the one time I will vend this year… Please join us for our annual, family-friendly celebration. All are welcome!
Located at the Mashantucket Pequot Cultural Grounds in the heart of one of America’s oldest Indian reservations, Schemitzun features traditional and contemporary tribal dance exhibitions, drum and live music, and plenty of authentic Native American-made crafts.
Four Winds One Breath is honored that The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation accepted us to vend again at this wonderful event. At our booth, you’ll find hand-block-printed clothing, hand-painted new and upcycled leathers, artwork, jewelry, spiritual card decks, hand-beaded work, and more. Each item is intuitively charged with guidance, healing, and a co-creative spirit.
I’m thrilled to introduce my newest creations: one-of-a-kind, hand-beaded baseball caps! Once I started making these, I couldn’t stop. Each adjustable women’s cap features intricate beadwork, hand-sewn with care and intention, using glass beads in gorgeous palettes. Come early for first choice!
I look forward to seeing you there!
Please note: There is no on-site parking at Schemitzun.
