After closing my gallery, Four Winds, in Bristol, Rhode Island, I meditated on a new name for my business, that captured what was next for me. Originally, the Four Winds Gallery featured Native American artists and culture; the four winds reflect the four directions in our spirituality.
The clear message arrived: “Four Winds One Breath… You do four different things, four directions—in one breath, one person.”
We are now entering a time of embracing our multi-dimensionality, all sides of ourselves, as a benefit to what we offer to others:
My artist’s eye makes me a better designer. My skill as a designer means I know what to shoot for as a brand photographer. My culture allows me to bring depth and a healing resonance to everything I create. And my vision allows me to bridge seen and unseen worlds.
Four expressions, one artist: Design, Vision, Art, Culture.
